Senior Organic Analyst

FPS are currently recruiting for a Senior Organic Analyst for an analytical company in Essex. This is a great opportunity for an analyst to step up into a senior role.

Main duties:

  • Responsible for running, maintaining and calibrating GC equipment as well as QC and data processing
  • Taking lead on reporting results and running investigations.
  • Working closely with section manager to diagnose problems or potential issues in the laboratory to ensure smooth running.
  • Technical checking of results
  • Train analysts and technicians in SOP’s
  • Take the lead in method development and validations as and when required

To be considered for this role, you will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline. You will have previous experience in GC-MS analysis as well as experience maintaining and calibrating the equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a UKAS/ISO 17025 background.
