First People Solutions are on the lookout for an experienced Energy Sustainability Officer to join our Dublin-based client.

Our client is a global engineering and project management consultancy serving market-leading companies in the advanced technology industries around the world. They deliver projects across the complete engineering and construction value chain from feasibility studies and concept design right through to construction, installation, commissioning, validation and qualification; as well as client side technical services. Their focus is on the semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, data centre and advacned manufacturing industries.

Position Summary:

The role is to be the systems owner of all activities related to the Energy & Facilities Support contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Outlined below is a list of tasks and activities that will be undertaken as part of this role.

  • Interfacing with project teams
  • BAR’s / AAR’s support
  • Attending Project meetings
  • Due Diligence on project SOW
  • Coordination and management of costing, ROI, feasibility studies, design etc
  • Risk analysis o construction o schedule
  • High level status report (schedules, latest updates, annual targets)
  • Support projects if required – if schedule delayed, issue resolution
  • Report on variances

1.1 Energy Roadmap and future project planning

  • Identification and Introduction of Additional projects
  • Coordination with Vendors/Suppliers
  • Third Parties
  • System Owners
  • Targeting of projects with reliability operations/capacity gains
  • Developing client energy reduction roadmap to Intel goals
  • Cross site coordination through system owners
  • Coordinate energy discipline meetings with relevant system owners
  • Roadmap
  • Developing BOD’s with Intel Design partners (Jacobs)
  • Work with client to Prioritise project selection based on long term plan
  • Site energy strategy development with client

1.2 Performance Indicators

  • Energy Performance Tracking – ION EEM
  • PMCS (DPS Project Tracker)
  • Schedule Status
  • Variance
  • Process development
  • Project Closeout
  • Tracking of critical path
  • Estimated vs Actual (M&V)
  • FaSTr & Pipeflo Support
  • Validation of FaSTr information – Field verification

Education & Experience:

  • MEP background in Energy Management.
  • Previous Business management experience
  • Years’ experience Min. 6-8 years’ experience on large multidiscipline projects in a design or PM role.

  • Leadership skills, with a view to managing people;

Other:

40 hours, Monday to Friday
