The Company

First People Solutions have an opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager on a permanent basis with a well-established Social Housing Contractor. Our client, deliver a variety of projects across Scotland including flatted developments, industrial buildings, hotels, school builds and many more.

The successful Assistant Site Manager will help deliver a key project working alongside an experienced project team. Our client have an established career plan for their Assistant Site Managers and can ensure promotion through the business.

The client needs a confident Assistant Site Manager able to add value to a significant project they are delivering for their valued client.

The Job

As an Assistant Site Manager you will:

  • Monitor sub contractors
  • Manage daily operations on site
  • Work alongside Site Manager to ensure high standards of quality and programme is adhered to.
  • Manage Health and Safety

The Candidate

The ideal Assistant Site Manager will have the following qualities:

  • Experience working with a recognised Social Housing Contractor
  • Joinery background
  • Ambition and determination to deliver success within the construction industry
  • Good commercial awareness
